Hall Improvements Project

Our village hall is a fantastic venue for all sorts of events and occasions, and plays a key role in our community spirit. There are many ways that the people of Toft can gather to socialise and make new friends whether this is at the varied Social Club evenings, the weekly cafe, or the many clubs that meet at the Hall. In recent years we have also been able to attract many excellent performers to sell out audiences.

The Hall has the potential to be even better and the management committee would welcome ideas on how we might extend and improve the building, for instance we would like to make the Hall more welcoming and accessible, enhance the facilities and embrace new technology to improve its sustainability.

The needs of the village are key to this process – so we would like to involve Toft residents in these plans. If you have never been inside the Hall, pop along on a Wednesday morning to the cafe, or a Thursday or Friday evening to the Social Club.

We are keen to get as many ideas as possible, and will hold an open meeting in early in the New Year to get villagers ideas – please see the next Calendar and village website for the date of this meeting.

23rd February - Open Meeting Announced

The Hall Management Committee are holding an open meeting on Thursday 21st March 2024 at approximately 20:15 - immediately after the Social Club AGM.

The meeting will be your chance to discuss potential improvements to the Hall - as well as look at some of the ideas already presented on how the Hall could look and perform in the future.
